They will not… can not leave this woman alone. I’m increasingly convinced that Sarah Palin is running to head a media empire rather than a presidential campaign. And while even Howard Kurtz can’t conceal a grudging admiration for her savvy, he makes sure to quote a rabid Palinophobe like John Aravosis. “I know, she revels in attention, and [...] Are you on Sarah Palin’s hit list? If you are a Dem candidate for Congress in any of these districts, you made the list. John Boozman, AR-2 We can now place Newsweek squarely in the KoolAid Brigade, along with MSNBC. Their latest cover features Sarah Palin in shorts, posing with an American flag. She was photographed for an article in Runner’s World magazine and all the other photos show her in more modest attire, warming up, stretching, doing the things that runners [...] Sarah Palin has returned, on a tour to hype her autobiography Going Rogue. And, of course, the liberal media, which alleges her irrelevance, is back on the attack, thus confirming that she is still relevant. Palin is said to have received a $5 million dollar advance, which should more than cover the $50,000 legal fee she [...] The Palin divorce rumor came and went in a single weekend. Such brief durations in Internet propagation mean that the slower moving media (like the NYT) never catch on at all. (Of course, this means fewer embarassing retractions1 .) The rumor has been traced back to an as yet unidentified kindergarden teacher in an Anchorage public [...] If quitting her day job was “political suicide” (as several liberal pundits declared early on), then why is Sarah Palin enjoying more attention than at any time since last November? There she is on the cover of this Friday’s Time, which has seemed more like a family photo album of the Obama clan over the last [...] If you listened real hard through the Michael Jackson coverage you might have caught the fact that Sarah Palin has decided to step down from the governorship of Alaska later this month. Even the pundits were caught off guard by this move and the MSM didn’t have time to get its story straight. An early canvas [...] Still don’t think that Sarah Palin was something special? Match her VP acceptance speech — first time ever on the national stage — with that of Bobby Jindal after the Obama speech. Palin hit it out of the park. Jindal looked like he was crapping bricks and not even the conservative pundits could muster much [...] Sarah Palin is a grandmother. Her daughter Bristol gave birth to a son over the weekend: Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnson. He joins his aunts and uncles, one of whom, Trig, is only 7 months his senior. Other relatives include Track, Trampoline, Trombone and Trailmix. |
