The United States plans to pledge more than $900 million to help rebuild Gaza after Israel’s offensive against Hamas and strengthen the Palestinian Authority, a U.S. official said on Monday. The money will be channeled through UN and other bodies and will not be distributed via the militant group Hamas, which rules Gaza, said the official, [...] All the whiny, whiny Palestinian-lovers in the new Administration got a slap in the face, as the Israeli elections are trending to the Right. An Israeli parliament with a newly-strengthened Likud party (not to mention some seats for ultra-Nationalist parties) is not about to listen to Obama’s urgings to make nice with Hamas. However naíve Obama [...] The usual disinformation is revealed to the discerning eye. The NYT reports, Anger over the Israeli assault on Gaza spilled into Times Square on Saturday, as hundreds of protesters condemned the attacks in a demonstration that stretched four blocks and clogged much of the city’s central tourist district for several hours. In this video posted on Little Green Footballs, we see an Israeli Defense Force aerial video of a smart bomb striking a “mosque”. Of course, the building explodes.
