The Star-Ledger of Newark is reporting on rumors in Business Week that lame duck Governor Jon Corzine has been approached to be the CEO of Bank of America after he leaves office at the end of December.¹

As Herr Doktor von Rundfunk quips, “From one government job to another.”

The rumor does beg the question: will he be rewarded for his mindless support of Obama or punished for his failure to succeed at the socialization of New Jersey. His defeat at the polls certainly has helped re-energize Republicans here and across the country.
